Mrs. Winifred Nowell Monroe

Mrs. Winifred N. Monroe age 78 of Preston, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Elder Clayton Nowell will officiate the service. The family will visit with friends Friday for 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Winifred Marjorie Nowell Monroe was born April 9, 1944 in Preston, GA. She was the daughter of the late Elijah Chester Nowell and late Emma Catherine Tucker Nowell. She was a devoted, loving wife, mother, granny and GiGi to her great grandchildren. Mrs. Monroe was a member of Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church in Preston, GA. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Denese Wallace (Glen) of Preston, Dee Hendrix Sturges (Robert) of Phenix City, AL and Rhonda Monroe Boutwell of Smiths Station, Al.
