Ms. Wilma Wells Lovette

Ms. Wilma Wells Lovette, age 95 of Americus, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2024, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Steve Golden will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Wilma Wells Lovette was born March 14, 1929 in Albany, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Wesley Wells, Sr. and the late Mamie Jacobs Wells. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ms. Lovette was a charter member of Morningside Methodist Church and current member of Lee Street Methodist Church. Survivors include her Daughter, Lisa Nowell of Americus; a sister, Sarah Weeks of Ft. Gaines, Ga. and a brother and sister-in-law Jimmy Wells (Nonnie) of West Point, Ga.
