Mr. William Chester Teal

Mr. William Chester Teal age 85 of Americus, passed away Thursday, November 07, 2019 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 from the graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday November 8th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Teal was born September 2, 1934 in Milan, GA. He was the son of the late William Henry Teal and the late Berdie Mae Conley Teal. He worked for The Seaboard Coast Line Railroad and retired from CSX Railroad. He also was a Public Accountant for many years. Mr. Teal was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Charlie Mitchell Teal of Americus; a daughter and son-in-law Sherrie Hargrove (Ben) of Americus, two sons and a daughter-in-law Mark Teal of Americus and Chris Teal (Lisa) of Atlanta.
