William Wayne Oliver Jr.

Mr. William Oliver Jr. age 75 died Saturday October 11, 2014 at his residence. A visitation and memorial service will be held Tuesday October 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Keith Wishum will officiate.  A graveside service will follow in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park at the Primitive Baptist church at Caves Cove at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Mr. Oliver was born July 11, 1939 in Knox County Tennessee. He was the son of the late Judge William Wayne Oliver Sr. and the late Thelma Goodson Oliver. He earned a Bachelor degree having attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Montana State University, Utah State College and Georgia Southwestern State University. Mr. Oliver worked for the U S Forestry Service as a Smoke Jumper. He worked for the Tennessee State Game and Fish as a Game Warden.
