Mr. Wendell Nealey Sr., age78, of Plains, GA died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Reverend Bill Nealey and Reverend Ron Perry will officiate. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Wendell Luke Nealey Sr. was born May 2, 1938 in Canton, GA to his parents Herman John Nealey and Eva Geneva Williams Nealey. Mr. Nealey was a retired self-employed truck driver. He was a United States Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was of the Baptist Faith.
