Walter Frank Lee

Mr. Walter Frank Lee, age 72, of Americus, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.

Walter Frank Lee was born on June 27, 1954 in Dawson, GA to the late Raymond and Velma Lee. Walter’s journey through life was marked by deep connections, simple joys, and a steadfast commitment to those he loved. Every chapter of Walter’s life spoke to his character—a person who could be counted on in times of need and whose laughter lightened even the heaviest heart. Whether he was offering a wise word of guidance, lending a steady hand, or simply sitting in quiet companionship, Walter embodied loyalty and warmth.

He is survived by his children; Dana McDuffie (Jeff) of Ashburn, GA, Walter Lee (Tausha) of Americus, GA, Stephen Lee of Americus, GA, Jody Lee of North Carolina and his step-son Bill Motes of Americus. He will be cherished by his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Brock (Perry) of Americus and his two brothers; Ronnie Lee of Plains, GA and Michael Lee (Laurie) of Cobb, GA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Lee and his son, Toby Lee.
