W. Y. Smith, Jr.

Mr. W.Y. Smith Jr. 72 passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Orlando, FL.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 24, 2015 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Ronny McCaskill will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  The following will serve as Pallbearers; Duane Berry, Ken Grimes, Rusty Grimes, Larry Banks, Danny Kelleher and Scott Daniels.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, April 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and other time the residence of Billy Smith 151 West Shore drive in Americus.      Mr. Smith was born February 14, 1943 in Bainbridge, GA the son of the late William Young Smith Sr. and Alberta Onis Oliver Smith.  He was a retired Insurance Agent and Farmer.
