Ms. Viola Hodges Milton

Ms. Viola Hodges Milton age 92 passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 in Monroe, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Marty Dillon will officiate the service. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viola Hodges Milton was born September 15, 1931 in Bainbridge, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Barney Hodges and the late Alma Pearl Hodges. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1948. She worked 11 years at the Steven Decatur Hotel. She worked in ministry with her husband Dr. Bill Milton. She enjoyed working with the youth children's choir and puppets ministry. Ms. Milton had the privilege to travel and tour the Holy Land. She also loved to work with Southern Baptist missions specifically in Honduras and Costa Rica. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
