Tom Skipper "Skip" Radney

Mr. Tom Skipper "Skip" Radney, age 81, passed away at his residence late Sunday evening, February 2, 2014.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at First Baptist Church.  Dr. Lamon Moates  and Rev. Mike Flowers will officiate.  Music will be provided by Rev. Keith Parks.  Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors.  Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Radney, Greg Radney, Wesley Yawn, Ben Knight, Jr., Scott Harrell, Christopher White, Jonathan Knight, and Seth Josiah Radney Bennett.  Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Men's Breakfast Club, the First Baptist Church Sound Committee, Johnny Ragsdale, Ben Kennedy, Ken Oxford, Earl Mainor, Ed Pope, Kelso Gooden, Keith Usry, Marty McDonald, and Dr. Schley Gatewood, Jr.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening February 4, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and other times at the family residence at 106 Cherry Laurel Trail, Americus.
