Mr. Thomas Joe Belcher

Mr. Thomas Joe Belcher, 50, of Box Springs, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2020 at Piedmont Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 16, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions no public visitation will be held. Friends are welcome to attend the service but must follow social distancing. Joe was born January 23, 1970 in Macon, GA. He was the son of Abner and Cheryl Belcher. He graduated from Americus High School and was a machinist for the Pratt & Whitney Company in Columbus. He was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church. Joe loved his family and enjoyed spending time with family and his many friends. He was an active outdoorsman, a firearm instructor and was a member of the Alexander H. Stephens Camp # 78 Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was a quiet man with a huge heart. Survivors include his wife Crystal R. Belcher "Christy" of Box Springs.
