Mrs. Susan Culpepper Lee age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Steve Golden will officiate. Friends may visit at 318 Cartwright Rd., Americus, GA Susan was born on May 31, 1952 in Barnesville, GA, daughter of the late Rev. Carl C. Culpepper and the late Margie Becker Culpepper. She was a retired school bus driver for Sumter County Schools. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband Walter Lee of Americus; her son Bill Mote of Americus; her step sons Walter Lee Jr. of Americus, GA, Stephen Uriah Lee of Americus, GA; her step daughter Dana Lee McDuffie (Jeff) Ashburn, GA; her brother John Culpepper (Ann) of Orchard Hill, GA; Sister Rebecca McCook of Bainbridge, GA as well as nieces and nephews.
