Silas Brink Bush, 91 of Americus, passed away Sunday September 5, 2021 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cedar Springs Cemetery in Cedar Springs, GA. Pastor Edward Bryan will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Silas Brink Bush was born on September 10, 1929 in Americus, GA. He was the son of the late John Frank Bush and the late Ruth Germaine Roberts Bush. Mr. Bush held many careers. He worked for the Dairy Extension Service for the State of Georgia. He worked for Smith Corona Equipment Company and was a manager and accountant for Fire Stone. He owned and operated Texaco Gas and Oil Distributor in Americus and was a Fraternal Insurance Representative for Woodman of The World.
