Mrs. Shirley Jean Pruim

Mrs. Shirley Jean Pruim age 88, of Americus passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Perfect Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at First Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Parks will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Shirley Jean Speelman Pruim was born August 13, 1935 in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of the late Harry Speelman and the late Jennie VandeWerken Speelman. She was a Homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Randy Pruim of Americus. One brother Ronald Speelman of Arizona and two grandchildren, Josh Pruim and Allison Pruim.
