Sheila Sue (Slagle) Hammond

Mrs. Sheila Hammond age 55, passed away at her residence Wednesday afternoon, April 23, 2014.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Americus, Rev. Max Rogers and Rev. Andy Taunton will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and other times the family residence 2100 Brady Road Leslie.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Ponce de Leon, FL.  The following will serve as active pallbearers, Stanley Holman, Hal Head, Darrell Thomison, Larry Head, Steve Richardson and Bob Hammond.      Mrs. Hammond was born October 7, 1958 in Marion VA, daughter of the late Harold Gordon Slagle and Delois Wharton Slagle.
