Ms. Sarah Edgemon

Ms. Sarah Vestal Edgemon, age 71, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, June 18, 2018 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Americus. Father Richard Nelson will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 20th in the Edgemon Family Cemetery in Ten Mile, Tennessee. A visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 pm Sunday, June 17th at Aldridge Funeral Services. Ms. Sarah Vestal Edgemon was born February 6, 1947 in Knoxville, TN daughter of the late James Edward Vestal and the late Sarah Elizabeth Greer Vestal. Ms. Edgemon was a former President and current Board Member for 20 years for the Sumter Historic Trust. She was a past member of the Junior Service League in Americus. Ms. Edgemon was a Homemaker and member of Calvary Episcopal Church.
