Mrs. Sandra Slaughter Johnson

Mrs. Sandra Slaughter Johnson, age 65, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Matt Johnson will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Sandra Slaughter Johnson was born October 4, 1959 in LaFayette, AL. She was the daughter of the late Elgin Robert Slaughter and the late Helen Holmes Slaughter. Sandra graduated from Southland Academy in 1978. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southwestern State University. She worked for GSW as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid until her retirement. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Americus.
