Mr. Rufus Doyle Wiggins

Mr. Rufus Doyle Wiggins, 88 of Leslie, passed away on Tuesday, August 06, 2024 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral and Cremation Services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Rev. William Hall and Rev. Bryan Bentley will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel and other times the family residence 2036 Hooks Mill Road Leslie, GA. Rufus Doyle Wiggins was born June 1, 1936 in Americus. He was the son of the late Rufus Lee Wiggins and the late Mary Eugena Wynn Wiggins. Mr. Wiggins was a retired Service Coordinator for Shiver Lumber Company, where he figured materials for construction projects. He was a Georgia Bull Dog fan and quite a jokester. His greatest love was his family. He was a devoted husband, father and cherished his grandchildren. He was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church.
