Ms. Ruby Virginia Ware

Ms. Ruby Virginia Ware, age 85, of Smithville, passed away early Tuesday morning March 12, 2024 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Rev Damon Fountain will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Thursday morning March 14th at 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. The family will leave the funeral home in procession at 10:30 a.m. going to Lebanon Cemetery for the graveside service. Ruby Virginia Morris Ware was born October 27, 1938 in Bradenton, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Joshua Pope Morris and the late Florence Evie McLemore Morris. She worked most of her life in child care and a seamstress. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ms. Ware was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her son, Ronald G.
