Mr. Ruben Davis Buchanan II age 47 of Plains, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Sammie Curry will officiate. Interment will follow in Concord Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20th at Aldridge Funeral Services. Ruben Davis Buchanan II was born September 22, 1973 in Americus. He was the son of the late Ruben Davis Buchanan Sr. and Mary Latann Cravey Buchanan. Mr. Buchanan worked in construction and general contracting. In addition to his mother, Mr. Buchanan is survived by his wife Amy Grace Adams Buchanan. A stepdaughter Heather Arnett of Plains and two stepsons, Kevin Arnett of Jacksonville FL and Tyler Arnett and companion Ashli Pilcher.
