Mr. Raymond Paul Mannila

Mr. Raymond Paul Mannila age 53, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Rylander Theater. Rev. Wendy Peacock will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Elizabeth Gurnack, Gary Fisk, Laura Fisk, Ellen Cotter, Paul Olsen, Sam Peavey, and Julie Meggieson. Mr. Mannila was born October 29, 1965 in Ishpeming, Michigan, son of the late Edward John Mannila Sr. and Virginia Ann Fortin Mannila. Mr. Mannila taught Technical Theater at Georgia Southwestern State University and was currently employed as the Technical Director of the Rylander Theater for the City of Americus. He was a past President of the Sumter Players and Vice President of production for the Sumter Players. He was of the Christian Faith.
