Ray Morgan Duke Sr.

Mr. Ray Morgan Duke Sr. age 74 of Americus, died Monday September 29, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 1st at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Eubanks and Rev. Max Rodgers will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services.     Mr. Duke was born March 4, 1940 in Smithville Ga. Son of the late Morgan General Duke and the Late Annie Pearl Worthy Duke. He graduated from Union High School in 1958 and graduated from Southern Tech with a associates degree. Mr. Duke worked most of his career in the commercial and industrial air conditioning field.
