Ms. Paulin Dacus West

Ms. Pauline Dacus West age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. There will be Musical Tribute held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Raymond Smith will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Pauline Dacus West was born September 1, 1936 in Stewart County. She was the daughter of the late Holcombe Keith Dacus and the late Carrie Pauline Daniel Dacus. She was a Homemaker and a member of Preston Baptist Church. Mrs. West was the Preston Baptist Church Pianist for many years. She was a friend to all and loved by many. Survivors include a daughter,Tammy West of Leesburg, GA. Two grandchildren and a great grandchild also survives. Ms. West was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Dacus and Arnold Dacus. Memorial contributions may be made to a humane society of choice.
