Mr. Paul Cochran age 88, of Americus, GA died peacefully Friday, March 24, 2017 at Perfect Care. A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Cheek Memorial Baptist Church. Reverend Earl Dunmon and Reverend Rick Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
Mr. Cochran was born January 18, 1929 son of the late John Thomas Cochran and the late Lizzie Higdon Cochran. Mr. Cochran graduated from South Georgia Technical and Vocational School in 1955 where he earned a Diesel Mechanic Certificate. He worked for Fox International in Americus, GA, the Mobile Home Industry and was self-employed. He was the owner of Cochran Tool and Welding Service.
