Mrs. Patricia Kay Buchanan

Mrs. Patricia Kay Cain Buchanan passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Winder Center for Nursing and Healing in Winder, Georgia with her daughter present. A visitation will be held at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023. A private interment will follow at a later date. Patricia Kay Cain Buchanan was born on October 20, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Henry Edwin Cain, and the late Leila Mae Harris Cain. Mrs. Buchanan graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She always said she couldn't name a time when she first started making art. She went on to become a school teacher for Art and English at Southland Academy in Americus, Georgia for over 40 years, touching the lives of more students than can be counted.
