Mrs. Pamela Kaye Powell Carson

Mrs. Pamela Kaye Powell Carson, age 59, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Americus. Pastor Randy Saye and Pastor Sam Maves will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Pamela Kaye Powell Carson was born March 26, 1964 in Knoxville, TN and was a resident of Sumter County since 1968. She was a graduate of Southland Academy and attended Belmont University and the University of Tennessee. Mrs. Carson was the daughter of James Preston Powell and Sheila Cochran Powell. For over 25 years, Pam took great pride in the family business at Powell Farms. She made many memories and long-lasting friendships as a member of the Early Bloomers Garden Club and the Jr. Service League of Americus.
