Olivia R. Wilson, born June 9, 1967, in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, Canada, passed away on April 14, 2026. She was a woman known for her generous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2026 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Stephen Fripp will officiate the service. The family will greet friends following the services in the chapel.
Olivia is survived by her loving husband, Chris Driver of 21 years together. She is also survived by her siblings: Tony Wilson (Stacy) of Meansville, Lynn Lewis of Grantville, Zack Wilson (Gina) of Cairo, John Wilson (Trish) of Rupert, and Andrew Wilson (Kyle) of Valdosta.
She leaves behind her cherished in-laws, Herman and Virginia Driver of Americus; sister-in-law Dawn Ammons (Christian) of Ellaville; brother-in-law Thomas Driver of Americus; and sister-in-law Vickie Wainwright of Norman Park.
Olivia was blessed with many special friendships, including Teresa McCook (Donnie) of Americus and Laura Norris of Pine Mountain.
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews: Abbie Tucker (Kevin) of Norman Park, Sean Wainwright (Hannah) of Americus, Ryan Driver (Emily) of Americus, Adison Ammons of Ellaville, Jennifer Pittman (Dillon)of Eastman, Heather Chambers (Keith) of Griffin, Christopher Wilson (Daffney) of Ellaville, Megan Inhulsen (Stephen) of Ellaville, Joshua Cyprian (Tabatha) of Grantville, Catherine Howell (Christopher) of Cairo, and Anna Merchant (Ethan) of Tallahassee FL, Mo Wilson (Sara) of Cairo, Jesse Wilson of Warner Robins, Michael Wilson of Rupert, Abi Brunson of Rupert, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is also survived by her aunt, Ruby Sheppard, and a host of cousins in Canada.
Olivia was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rebecca D. Wilson.
She graduated from Americus High School in 1985 and went on to further her education at South Georgia Technical College, earning degrees in Criminal Justice and Marketing, as well as becoming a Supervisory Specialist.
Olivia was a dedicated businesswoman. In 2005, she purchased Ice Cream World, and in 2006, she relocated and renamed it Olivia’s Diner, where she created not just meals, but memories for her community.
She had a passion for cooking and found joy in feeding others. Olivia was always ready to lend a helping hand, known for her giving heart and her love of finding a good bargain. Her warmth and laughter touched everyone who knew her.
Olivia’s life was a beautiful reminder that the best moments are often the simplest ones—shared smiles, stories, and time spent with those we love.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
