Mr. Olin Glenn Godwin, Sr., age 67 of Plains passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at Southeast Health in Dothan AL. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Rev. Steven Wright will officiate the service. Olin Glenn Godwin, Sr., was born December 23, 1954, in Sumter County. He was the son of the late Lynton Earl Godwin, Jr., and the late Dorothy Virginia Oliphant Godwin. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn Godwin (Shelly) of Plains, Jamie Godwin (Jennifer) of Americus and Mark Godwin of Plains. A daughter, Shelley Godwin, of Macon, GA, a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Lightner (Johnny) of Pains and a brother and sister-in-law, Lynton Earl Godwin, III, "Boze" (Betty) of Plains. Four grandchildren also survive, Maddie Godwin, Will Godwin, Alyssa Godwin, and Kinley Claire Godwin. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
