Myrtice Gruber Stephens

Mrs. Myrtice Gruber Stephens age 86, passed away Monday evening, January 12, 2015 at WellStar Community Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Rev. Greg Kirk and Rev. James Beckett will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.  Nephews will serve as active pallbearers and the Deacons of Rehoboth Baptist Church are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening January 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at other times the family residence 108 Glenwood Road Americus.      Mrs. Stephens was born March 12, 1928 in Blakely, Ga. the daughter of the late John Herbert Gruber and the late Mary Young Gruber.  She was a home maker; a charter member of Moring Glory Garden Club and a charter member of the Tuesday Morning Bridge Club.
