Millard English

Mr. Millard English, age 67 passed away Monday morning, September 8, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.  Funeral services will be held from the graveside at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, Ga. Pastor Lauri Hartley officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Fuller, George Williams, Steve Theus, Boaz Godwin, Lee Johnson and Don Murray.      Mr. English was born April 18, 1947 in Americus the son of the late William Christopher "Bill" English and Ida Benford English.  He was a computer programmer and was Deputy Clerk for the city of Plains, Ga. for six years and a member of Plains United Methodist Church.      Mr. English is survived by his beloved wife Gloria English of Plains, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Chris English (Doris) of McDonough, Ga. Lanny English (Gini) of Perry, Ga. Steve English (Beth) of Vienna, Ga. also surviving four nieces and four nephews and several Great nieces and nephews.      Memorial contributions may be made to...
