Ms. Mildred Dennis Harris, age 96, of Americus, died Monday, September 25, 2017 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the residence of Fred and Dorita Dennis 350 District Line Road Americus, GA. Ms. Harris was born December 30, 1920 in Chidester, Arkansas. She was the daughter, of the Late, Arthur Stroud and, the Late, Lela Ophelia Fambrough Stroud. Ms. Harris was a Homemaker and member of Central Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Silvertones at Central Baptist Church.
