Mr. Melvin Ray Collins Jr.

Mr. Melvin R. Collins age 80, of Ellaville passed away August 12, 2021. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Joel Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Trey Hewitt, Gannon Womack, Justin Womack, Jantz Womack, Christopher Collins and Jay Duke will serve as active pallbearers. Mr. Melvin Ray Collins Jr. was born November 24, 1940 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Melvin Ray Collins Sr. and the late Louise Claxton Collins. Mr. Collins owned and operated Southeastern Pneumatic in Ellaville, GA, Southwestern Pneumatic in Venus TX, Kyle, TX, Houston, TX and Pneumatic Exports in Miami, FL. He attended Ellaville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Janice Marie DeVane Collins of Ellaville, GA.
