Maureen Elizabeth Khaler Smith age 71, of Americus, GA, passed away Saturday morning November 7, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday November 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Martin Dillon will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 9th at Aldridge Funeral Services. Maureen Elizabeth Khaler Smith was born August 13, 1949 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the daughter of the late James K. Barton and the late Mary Ellen McIntyre Barton. She was a Homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard C. Smith of Americus.
