Mrs. Mary Lynn Shealy

Mrs. Mary Lynn Shealy, age 77, passed away early Monday morning December 19, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Americus. The Rev. Daryl Brown Senior Pastor of First United Methodist Church and the Rev. James W. Smith, Jr. will officiate the service. The family has asked the following gentlemen to serve as active pallbearers: John Fowler, Cub Smith, Rob Rickert, Harley Calhoun, Ross Youngdale and Lee Pinnell. The Faith Builders Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers. A private burial will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA. The family will receive friends following the service at the church on Thursday and other times at the family residence, 2412 South Lee Street, Americus.
