Mrs. Mary Frank Johnson

Mrs. Mary Frank Shy Johnson, 93 of Americus, passed away Tuesday September 24 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Matt Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before services on Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Mrs. Johnson was born May 24, 1926 in Macon, GA. She was the daughter of the late William Harris Shy and the late Effie Lou Musselwhite Shy. She was a Homemaker and Bookkeeper for Johnson Construction Company. Mrs. Johnson was also a Registered Nurse and worked for Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Americus. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Janice Oliver Wardlow (James) of Cobb and Susan Pantlik (Ray) of Charleston, SC.
