Mary Elizabeth Harrell, age 94, of 2001 South Lee Street, Americus, GA passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA. A commitment service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Rostrum of Andersonville National Cemetery. A visitation will be held in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on the morning of Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Mary Elizabeth Harrell was born November 26, 1922 in Bainbridge, GA. Elizabeth enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. She grew up in the country, which allowed her to develop a deep appreciation for tending to her flowers. In her spare time she walked with her good friend Evelyn Smith. They shared many conversations and good times with one another. Her family enjoyed her infectious smile, keen sense of humor, and childhood stories, especially the "Bull Story".
