Mary Louise (Fulford) Layfield

Mrs. Mary Louise Fulford Layfield, age 87 passed away Sunday afternoon, October 19, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Cheek Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Houston Berry will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Level Methodist Church Cemetery in Macon County.  Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, Adam, Matt, Logan, Daniel, Scott, Dalton, Chad and Ricky.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014.      Mrs. Layfield was born 03/11/1927 in Ellaville, Ga. the daughter of the late James Pauline Fulford and Coraluie Miller Fulford.  She was retired from Manhattan Shirt Company formerly of Americus where she was a seamstress.  She was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church.      Mrs. Layfield is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; Linda Layfield Morgan (Ronnie) of Tazewell, Ga. and Cathy Layfield O'Neal of Jackson, MS.  Four sons and daughters-in-law; Ed...
