Ms. Mary Ethel Davis

Ms. Mary Ethel Davis, 93, of Americus, GA, passed away Sunday November 26, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, December 2, at 11:00am officiated by Rev. Sammy Curry. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. Everyone is invited to bring a covered dish to eat and fellowship with the family immediately following the interment at Faith Baptist Church. The family will also receive visitors on Friday, December 1, at Aldridge Funeral Services chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Ms. Davis was born on April 8, 1924 in Macon County, GA, to the late William Cromer and the late Cannila Cromer. She was retired from the Manhattan Shirt Co. where she worked as a seamstress. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include, step daughter, Charlene Davis Lee (Ray)of Americus, step son, James L. Davis of Americus, sisters, Clemnie M.
