Marvin Wendell "Wink" Conner Jr.

Mr. Marvin Wendell "Wink" Conner Jr. of Cobb passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home. Graveside memorial services with military honors, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Andersonville National Cemetery. Brad Rigby will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service at Andersonville. Marvin Wendell Conner Jr. "Wink" was born November 27, 1937 in Abbeville, Ga. He was the son of the late Marvin Wendell Conner, Sr. and the late Susie Ann Hunter Conner. He grew up, educated in Capital Heights Schools in Montgomery, AL. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School also in Montgomery. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Troy State College. Mr. Conner was a United States Marine veteran. He worked in sales and sales management until his retirement. He attended Lakeshore Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Lou Yeackle Conner of Cobb.
