Ms. Marjorie Cross Carden

Ms. Marjorie Carden, 86, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until service time in the chapel. A private burial will follow the service at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Vienna, GA. Marjorie was born December 11, 1936, and grew up in the Mars Hill Community of Dooly County, Georgia, as the daughter of the late Raymond Gordon Cross and the late Onnie Allen Cross. She became a Christian at Mars Hill Baptist Church as a child and spent her life attending church, loving the lord, and serving her lord and others. Marjorie was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, Americus, for many years. After graduating from Vienna High School, Marjorie attended South Georgia Technical College becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.
