Marian Elizabeth Wiggins Tipton, age 79, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany, GA. Private graveside services will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Rev. R T Beverly will officiate the service. Marian Elizabeth Wiggins Tipton was born September 29, 1945 in Americus. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Carlton Wiggins and the late Fannie Hand Wiggins. She retired from the Department of Corrections, where she worked as an LPN. After her retirement, she worked for Magnolia Manor and Winn Dixie grocery store. She was a member of Plains Methodist Church.
