Ms. Margaret Ethel Sturdivant

Ms. Margaret Sturdivant, age 88 died peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mountville Cemetery located at 4563 Greenville Road Lagrange, GA 30241. Reverend Floyd Sanders will officiate. A visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Aldridge Funeral Services. Ms. Margaret Sturdivant was born September 21, 1928 in Pine Mountain, GA daughter of the late Crawford Fuller Sturdivant and the late Susie Hogg Sturdivant. Ms. Sturdivant worked many years as a secretary for DFCS in Americus, GA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Americus. Survivors include one niece Sara Sanders and her husband Floyd of Americus, GA. Ms. Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
