Mrs. Margaret P. Smith

AMERICUS – Margaret Price Smith, 69, of 859 McMath Mill Road passed away at her residence early Sunday morning, February 21, 2016, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Hugh Harbort and Rev. William Hall will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour prior to the funeral. Margaret was born in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia to the late James Alonza Price and Nita Mae Williams Price. She was a retired customer service representative for the TOG Shop and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She truly loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Donald Jay Smith of Americus; her son Scott Barry and his wife Christy and their daughter Livvy Barry of Americus; a daughter Laura B.
