Mrs. Margaret G. Oliver, age 92, of 2001 S. Lee St. Americus, GA died peacefully Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Phoebe Sumter Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Young Memorial United Methodist Church in Thomson, GA. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, Ga. Rev. Edward Cook, Rev. Wesley Kaylor, and Rev. Melissa Reynolds will officiate. The family will receive friends at Young Memorial United Methodist Church from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 3:30 PM in the Magnolia Room at Magnolia Manor 2001 South Lee Street in Americus, GA. Mrs. Oliver was born March 8, 1924 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Frank Gonzales and the late Florence Chreene Davis. Mrs. Oliver retired from Kingsley Mills in Thomson, Georgia, where she worked as an Office Clerk.
