Margaret E. Dawson, age 87, passed away peacefully at her daughter's residence on November 11, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the funeral from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum and at other times at the family's residence 565 Devoe Road, Andersonville, GA. Mrs. Dawson was born on May 11, 1928 in Macon, GA to John Wesley Meeks and Nannie Lucile Addleton Meeks. She worked for 36 years for Bibb Manufacturing Company in the spinning room. She attended the Willingham Baptist Church in Macon, GA. Mrs. Dawson is survived by her daughters Diane Cross and her husband Jackie of Andersonville, GA and Mary Elizabeth Hoffman and her husband Alvin of Oklahoma City, OK; a son, Floyd Cecil Yancey and his wife Sue of Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren: Kim Smith of Americus, GA, Missy Aldridge of Ellaville,...
