Malcolm E. Richards

Mr. Malcolm E. Richards age 75, passed away late Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 at his residence. Memorial graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Fire Department Honors. Rev. William Hall and Rev. Bobby Ward will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. before services at the funeral home and other times the family residence 1315 Hwy. 27 East Americus. Mr. Richards was born November 17, 1939 in Leesburg, Ga. He was the son of the late Cecil Richards and Una B. Bradley Richards. Mr. Richards served in the U. S. Navy. He was a retired Captain from the Americus Fire Department. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Richards is survived by his beloved wife Martha C. Richards of Americus, two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie Richards (Jeff Deriso) of Americus, Cissy McDonald (Charley) of Lake Blackshear, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark E. Richards (Mary) of Andersonville and Matt Richards of Americus, two sisters,...
