Mrs. Maggie Lucile Brownlee

Mrs. Maggie Lucile Brownlee age 83, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 from the graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Maggie Lucile Spurlin Brownlee was born September 5, 1940 in Leslie, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Tooney Spurlin and the late Mattie Lucile Potter Spurlin. She was a Homemaker and Christian by faith. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Brownlee of Americus. Two daughters and son-in-law, Kim Brownlee of Americus and Kelly Manning and James of Ellaville. Two sisters, Dorothy Toms of The Rock, GA and Catherine Bailey of Florida. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jordan Manning, Justin Manning, two sisters-in-law, Evon Spurlin and Marlene Johnson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
