Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Scott Bush

Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Scott Bush age 79, of Americus, passed away Sunday August 25, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Bush was born February 6, 1945 in Leslie, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Wallace Howard Scott and the late Mary Alice Varnum Scott. She was a Homemaker, loving wife, Mother and Grandmother. She attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Lula was loved and will be missed by many. Survivors include her husband William Frank Bush of Americus; two daughters, Debbie Bush of Acworth, GA and Leslie Bush of Panama City, FL. Mrs. Bush is also survived by a grandson, William Lee Berkley; a brother and sister-in-law, Gene Bush (Estelle) of Ellaville, Leonard Abel of Americus and a sisters-in-law, Marjorie Joanne Bush of Americus and Virginia Scott of Americus. A number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Abel and a brother, Wallace Howard Scott, Jr. There are no services planned at this time.
