Mrs. Lucy Wilson Peek

Mrs. Lucy Wilson Peek, 84 of Americus, GA, passed away Monday December 9, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 graveside in Swearingen Cemetery in Dooly county. Rev. Sam Maves will officiate. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services and, at other times, at the residence of Jo and Walt Wingard at 881 HWY 27 East Americus, GA. Mrs. Lucy Wilson Peek was born January 7, 1935 in Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Wilson Sr. and the late Hazel Langston Wilson. She retired from the Sumter County School System, where she worked as a Payroll Clerk. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Her Life revolved around the love she shared for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. Survivors include two daughters Lynn P. Hall of Vienna and Kay P.
