Ms. Lois Ruth Shiver

Ms. Lois Ruth Shiver age 93 passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Rev. Mike DeLoach and Rev. Daryl Lewis will officiate the service. Rev. Brian Norton will officiate a committal service at 3:00 p.m. in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell County. The family will greet friends Wednesday, October 18th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Lois Ruth Phillips Shiver was born May 22, 1930 in Nortonville, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Gobel Phillips and the late Mary Washington Key Phillips. Mrs. Shiver was a Homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She loved her church and church family, worshiping her Lord and praising Him in music. She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
