Lisa Ann Lovette Nowell was born June 28, 1957 in Americus to the late Loyd Lovette and Wilma Rene Lovette. Lisa had a desire for living life with the people who mattered the most, her family. She enjoyed weekend outings, activities and creating memories that will be cherished forever. She was a doting “YaYa” to her grandbabies. She would get so excited to watch the Braves and Georgia Bulldogs play. She loved to cook for the family and do word searches or play cards. Bunco Ladies Group night was one of her favorite times, laughing and playing games with her friends. She never met a stranger and with that personality it was no time at all that she got called “Mama Lisa” by so many. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist.

Lisa is survived by her children; Kim Hale (John) and William Chester “Chet” Nowell (Morgan) and a son-in-law; Luke Brown. She is also survived by her three precious grandchildren; William T. Jack Brown, Anna Rene Brown and Truett Andrew Hale, along with a number of nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends who cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Earl Nowell, her daughter, Karen Nowell Brown and her brother, William Larkin Lovette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Bethel Baptist Children’s or Youth Ministry.
